Dear Green Place

Glasgow, UK

Apparently, this is what “Glasgow” used to mean. But there’s very little time to read Wikipedia articles on it.

After finally getting a roof on top of my wet head, Glasgow has forced me into a whirlwind of things to do. Apart from all the bureaucracy (a little more than for Italy, believe it or not), academic and language and social items get added repeatedly on my to-do list.

Conferences and panels to attend and organize, meetings and events to go to, books to review, classes to take, languages to learn… life will zoom very fast here in Scotland.

So, Dear Green Place, I’ll probably not know you well until the very end.
